Three Generations of Gliding Research
Our observation of gliding movement dates back to the 1970s. From the Pan family’s initial exploration of mechanical structures to the establishment of a formal production entity in 1992, this industrial relay has spanned three generations.
Throughout years of deep cultivation in laboratories and workshops, our technical lineage has remained anchored in the negotiation between gravity and the ground: How to dissipate resistance during displacement? How to elevate the "sensuality" of a glide?Through this half-century of focused observation, ROBBY has developed instinctive engineering habits, where the memory of physical tolerances has become a shared consanguineous consensus.
This accumulation has today found its aesthetic outlet, externalizing long-standing precision through design language, allowing moving components to evolve from invisible industrial parts into spatial symbols with sensory tension.
Engineering
Manufacturing
Within our own manufacturing base in Zhongshan, we have achieved full-link autonomy—from metal stamping and injection molding to 5-axis servo pipe bending—ensuring every detail of a design sketch is precisely translated into reality according to our vision.
Processes
The birth of every product involves a rigorous journey behind the scenes. In our labs, we conduct exhaustive UV aging, braking fatigue, and extreme pressure tests that exceed BIFMA 5.1 standards.
Scale
While automation covers most processes, the subtle moments that define the final "tactile feel" still rely on the precise intervention of our 80+ senior engineers. The synergy of industrial efficiency and generational expertise defines our brand's ultimate depth, achieving a level of precision beyond the reach of machines.
